Kansas City, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State baseball program finished 22-27 last season just missing the conference tournament and are eyeing a return to the top as the MIAA releases their 2014 Preseason Coaches Poll.
Central Missouri took the top spot in the conference as they are currently rank No. 19 in NCAA. Northwest came in at No. 11 in the MIAA as the 2014 season approaches.
The Bearcats return three All-MIAA performers from last season. Ryan Abernathy and Eric McGlauflin return after earning second team All-MIAA accolades while Rkyer Fox was tabbed Honorable Mention.
Head Coach Darin Loe’s team will open their season in Alva, Okla. as they take on Northwestern Oklahoma State Saturday Feb. 8.
