Summer Update - Jordan Bischel

Summer Update - Jordan Bischel, Assistant Baseball Coach (Pitching) for the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats.  Jordan spent the summer working as the Head Coach of the Green Bay Bullfrogs Baseball Club, a member of the premier Northwoods League summer college wood-bat league.  In 2012, the Bullfrogs finished the year 34-36, good for 5th place in the South Division (15 games back from Division winning La Crosse Loggers).  The Bullfrogs came out of the gate firing on all cylinders and finished the first half of the season in 2nd place with a record of 22-13.  But injuries and other bad breaks saw the Bullfrogs play inconsistently in the 2nd half to finish out the year at 12-23.  Nonetheless, since Jordan's tenure with Green Bay, 33 of his baseball players were drafted in the Major League Baseball amateur draft.  Its obvious Coach Bischel can recruit talent, then coach up talent, to the point of catching the eyes of professional scouts.

Despite being a Green Bay Packers fan, Jordan is also a great guy so don't let the cheese-head fool you.  With that said, its a blessing to have Jordan coach at Northwest Missouri State and it will be great to see the success Coach Bischel accomplishes in his professional life.

Go Cats!!
