Chewie's kitchen - Goose fajitas

Welcome to B2R's food program, "Chewie's kitchen," where we highlight tasty recipes for the Bearcat nation.

Today's show, we discuss "Goose fajitas"

B2R - Chef Chewie, what's on tap for today's show?

Chef Chewie - Today, we are going to make Goose fajitas, BAM.

B2R - Sounds fantastic, let's get started.

Chef Chewie -

First, we go hunting and tag 2-3 geese during hunting season and within the rules and regulations of the Missouri Department of Conservation.

B2R - Very good point Chef. Always practice good choices.

Chef Chewie -

Next, put 4-6 goose breasts into a crockpot and pour a pot of coffee into it. Cook on high until meat falls apart (usually 8-10 hours depending on your crockpot).

B2R - Mmm mm, smells fantastic. What's next?

Chef Chewie -

Pull meat apart with a fork then drain most of the liquid. Put it in a pan and pour 2 bottles of liquid smoke over the pulled goose. Marinade for at least 3 hours.

Chop 2-3 roasted bell peppers, 1 sweet onion, and cook until soft in a separate pan.

Add the pulled goose in the pan with the vegetables until hot. Then, serve on tortillas with your favorite fajita condiments.

Enjoy. BAM

B2R - Well, we hope you enjoyed this episode of Chewie's Kitchen. Thank you and good night.

Go Cats!!
