Charlie Meyer has a website that ranks his opinion on the top NCAA Division 2 baseball teams in the State of Missouri. His initial poll had our Northwest Missouri State Bearcat baseball team ranked 9th out of 13 squads. A respectful disagreement ensued.
Following Northwest's hot start to the season, Charlie now has Northwest as his #5 NCAA Division 2 baseball team in the State of Missouri. Per request, he even included a Northwest baseball hat in the article. Charlie has UCM as #1, Rockhurst as #2, Missouri S&T #3, Drury #4, and Northwest as #5.
Although unscientific and one person's opinion, the discussion and work is fascinating and worth noting that other people are noticing Northwest's success.
