Bearcats Shaping up

Series Re-cap:  Truman State University

The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats baseball team swept the Truman State Bulldogs by winning all three games of the series this weekend.  Northwest played exemplary offense and defense in the series.  Northwest's pitching was terrific.  The Bearcats unloaded on the Bulldogs this weekend.  I thought the Rocky training scenes were appropriate for this report because the team has taken some punches, had some adversity, but is battling through the adversity.  Like Rocky Balboa getting better with the guidance of Apollo Creed, the Bearcats played better in all phases of the game this weekend.
