Northwest is essentially 1.5 games back from Fort Hays State and the 6th and final play-off spot for the MIAA Post-Season Conference Tournament in Kansas City.  Northwest entered last weekend's series with SBU on the wrong-end of a tie for 9th place.

Here is Northwest's remaining 2012 regular season schedule:

At Pitt State (10-18 MIAA, 12-23) this weekend (April 27 & 28)(4 games)(2 & 2)
Home versus Washburn (4th place, 16-12 MIAA, 20-15) (April 28 & 29)(4 games)(2 & 2)
Home versus Lincoln (Last Place, 4-23 MIAA, 4-31)(May 4, 5, & 6)(4 games)(1, 2, 1)

Fort Hays (16-15 MIAA, 6th place) play on the road at SBU this weekend (12-16 MIAA, 17-20-1), then play home versus Missouri Western (2nd, 20-8 MIAA, 27-11).

THE BOTTOM LINE IS OUR NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE BEARCATS NEED TO QUIT THIS MAMBY-PAMBY CRAP AND GO TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS.  PERIOD.  THEY HAVE OPPORTUNITY RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM.  NOW.  NOT NEXT YEAR.  NOW.  We all know what happens when the 'Cats lay their heart on the line...they can beat anybody.  We also know what happens when the Bearcats let-up or take the foot off the gas pedal (errors, no offense, and allowing a lot of runs).

Go get'em Cats!!!  The B2R is now going to go watch ROCKY, GLADIATOR, THE PATRIOT, AND 300 to get mentally focused for this weekend.

Go Cats!!
