Summer Update - Charlie Krueger
Summer Update - #23 Charlie Krueger - P/DH/1B - enters the 2012/2013 academic year as a junior at Northwest Missouri State University.
Charlies spent Summer 2012 playing for the BJ Raiders of the Kansas City-based Ban Johnson League. Many thanks goes out to the B2R Investigative team for their tireless work in accumulating Charlie's stats so the Bearcat Nation can follow their favorite Charlie Krueger.

Charlie has had a spectacular summer playing in the Ban Johnson League. Charlie was an offensive beast coming off the bench in 2012 batting .370, slugging .556, and an on-base% .469. Charlie is a very talented pitcher but has battled injuries at that position. Charlies missed a little time last season due to an injury and rushed his way through rehabilitation very quickly. It remains to be seen if Charlie tries to give pitching another go in 2013. By all accounts, Steven Garber will have to play his way out of being the regular 1B. Charlie is a reliable glove defensively, but he simply knocks the compound hell out of the baseball when he's at the dish. The B2R is glad its not the coach trying to find playing time with so many offensive weapons like Charlie. I'll say this, Charlie is a great kid and I'm glad he's a Bearcat. He spent the summer working hard to get better and that's what I like to see. It will be an exciting fall camp for one Charlie Krueger to see where his talents are best utilized. I think Charlie has the makings of being All-Conference in 2013.
Go Cats!!
