Maryville, Mo. - Your Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats baseball field underwent some work during the off-season. While attending practice this week, the B2R took some photographs of the terrific work behind home plate where Northwest built an elevated platform with ramps and removed approximately 3 rows of bleachers with the improvement. The ramp is ADA accessible and folks will be able to see the field of play instead of the back of the umpire and catcher.
The improvements look terrific. Outstanding job.
Northwest's home opening weekend is March 3, 4, and 5, 2017. The Bearcats will play Lindenwood University that weekend.
