Maryville, MO - A B2R shout-out to the Bearcat men's basketball team who plays in the NCAA Post-Season Championship Regional Tournament in Maryville on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 6pm, inside Bearcat Arena against Upper Iowa University. The Bearcat men's basketball team is 29-1, 18-1 MIAA in the 2016-2017 NCAA season. The Bearcats won the MIAA regular season championship and the MIAA post-season tournament championship this season. Northwest Missouri State University is hosting the NCAA post-season championship regional tournament for the first time in school history. What a terrific accomplishment. The community's excitement for the team is at an all-time high. Those interested in attending Northwest's game needs to go to the Bearcat Arena a couple of hours before opening tip-off because the demand has been high and 3/4 of all available tickets have been pre-sold as of Thursday, March 9, 2017.
