Series Recap - Truman (Games 3 & 4)
In Game 3, Northwest's offenses exploded in a big way to win the game 17-7 to see the Bearcats' 2012 season record advance to 8-20, 7-12 MIAA. Jace Anderson picked-up the first victory as a Bearcat and in 2012 with today's performance and advanced the 2012 record to 1-4. Jace worked 4.2 innings, allowed 11 hits, 7 runs (6 earned), 4 walks, 4 strike-outs, and 2 wild pitches. While definitely not what Jace expected of himself in the performance, its good to get the 500-pound gorilla off of his back for that first victory of the year.

Pat Brady was a real bright spot for the Bearcats as he came in relief and worked 2.1 innings, allowed only 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 walks, and 0 strike-outs.
Pat Brady stopped the bleeding in a clutch performance on Sunday, April 1, 2012, when he worked 2.1 innings and only allowed 1 hit in the game.

In addition, Tyler Durant (a home run), Steven Garber, and Landinn Eckhardt each earned a hit in the game. The game took 2:23 to complete with 76 fans in the stands in beautiful 80 degree weather with a stiff breeze.
In Game 4, Northwest won 21-7 to split the 4-game series. The win moved Northwest's 2012 record to 9-20, 8-12 MIAA. Sean Brady earned the start and worked 4.2 innings, allowed 9 hits, 5 runs (all earned), 4 walks, 3 strike-outs, and 1 wild pitch. Nathanial Horton came in to relieve Sean and worked 1.0 inning, allowed 4 hits, 2 runs (both earned), 1 walk, 0 strike-outs, and 1 wild pitch. Josh Parrish had a terrific outing and earned his first victory on the year moving his 2012 season record to 1-2. Josh worked 3.1 innings, allowed 0 hits, 0 runs, 3 walks, and 0 strike-outs.
